Great place! Walked in, took a seat, and ordered some sandwiches from their selection. Food was delightful, and we amused ourselves with the locale – who found the sight of tourists all browsing their phones laughable. Great place to stop by after visiting the Vatican and rest up. Be wary of visiting during the summer, as it becomes so busy people were sitting around outside eating their food.

Right around the corner from St Peters and on the way to everywhere we went — by design. Is this lovely little coffee shop that serves mouth watering sandwiches and a wicked cappuccino at unbelievable low prices. Belly up to the bar and order yours from the efficient bar staff who can help a little in English if need be. We stumbled upon by accident, clearly off the tourist track and were rewarded by rubbing elbows with the locals and a true Italian experience. Did I mention the price? Cappuccino, sandwiches, hot chocolate for three for under 10 euros!

Best little find in Rome I went here every morning because I couldn’t get away from there delicious pastries in the morning and amazing coffee. I could tell I found a gem because of all of the locals drinking their shots of expresso in the morning on their way to work. Treat yourself to a pastry and also a sandwich for lunch. speedy service and great friendly staff. They spoke English which was very helpful. I highly recommend getting your cappuccino fixed here. Two pastries and one cappuccino cost me $ 2.90 euro. Great price

Nur wenige Meter vom großen Trubel um den Petersplatz in einer Seitengasse liegt diese nette Weinbar, wo man für romische/vatikanische Verhältnisse für mein Empfinden nach zu recht moderaten Preisen ein Mittagessen bekommt. Nach einem Besuch vom Vatikan, Vatikanischen Museen, Petersdom und Petersplatz ist es hier sicher eine Möglichkeit seine Mittagspause verbringen. Leider ist das Platzangebot recht bemessen. Für Gruppen mit mehr als 8 Personen wird es schon recht eng. Auch bei Toilette und im Eingangsbereich wird an Platz gespart. Dafür sind sie bei dieser Gruppengröße recht flink mit dem Essen servieren. Meine Gnocchi Pomodoro waren ein schnelles und köstliches Mittagessen. Im Gastraum befinden sich viele verschiedene Weinflaschen an den Wänden. Ich selbst habe zwar keinen Wein getrunken, aber den anderen in der Reisegruppe hat es gemundet.
