More like 3.5 stars, this place used to be called Pancotto. My first meal in Rome, the day I arrived. At first impression it was a quiet little place I found while l was walking in Trastevere. I noticed they put tape over the name of the old establishment on front of menu. Service was efficient and friendly as it was around 4:00PM, and I was the only one there. Started with Roman style artichoke, which is warm, but covered with salad dressing, not bad. The Pizza was very good, thin crust, with prosciutto and peppers. The Salad, although loaded with mozzarella, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato tasted a little dull. Maybe the dressing, not sure. Overall, a satisfactory meal. It’s a little on the pricey side costing me close to 32 euro including tip, but nothing too crazy.

DONOTGO. Unless your extremely wealthy and have money to burn avoid at all cost. My girlfriend a friend and I went in for what we thought would be a nice early dinner and it turned out to be everything but that. The waiters were nice in accommodating us and making suggestions when I asked for their bruschetta, would you like some mozzarella with that? Sure we said, little did we know that the 2 euro bruschetta would be come 7 per person with the addition of a little cheese. I wish that was where it ended. The waiter suggests to us their special which was described as fettuccine with a mushroom sauce accompanying a steak. We finished the adequate food and asked for the bill and that’s when it hits us. The special is not only ridiculously priced but on the bill disguised as two separate meals. When we brought this to our waiters attention he said he would remove the cheaper of the two items but not with out adding more to the bill that he claimed to have forgotten to put on the first time. Stay away at all cost. I suggest taking a two minute walk around the corner to Alle Fratte Di Trastevere where we were treated like family the moment we walk in the door and had better tasting food at a fraction of the cost.

Great staff, good sized beers. I didn’t eat here but I had a few beers and they were very accommodating. Atmosphere is perfect for people watching. Just saw a sign for gluten free pasta, def coming for dinner.
