Fantastic pasta dishes, birra moretti, and large portions at fantastic prices. Enough said.

A friend of ours who lives in Italy outside Rome told us that the restaurants near Roma Termini were the worst in town. If so, this must be the exception to the rule. The food is excellent and the staff cook a variety of dishes including seafood and Calabrian specialties. A member of our party is Calabrian by ancestry and testified to the authenticity of the ones we ordered. The prix fixe menu for 15 € is a good choice if you want to stuff yourself — portions are very generous. It includes some Roman primi like spaghetti amatriciana and past arrabiata. Salads here are especially well done as well. Tiramisu is some of the best we’ve had. Atmosphere is informal and the dining room is below street level. Note that the address is shared with a Japanese restaurant.

Best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! Waiter was friendly. A little off the beaten path but well worth it!
