An absolute must for a visit to Rome, whether just for a coffee or snack, or a whole meal. This combination restaurant/coffee bar/museum delivers on all fronts. The atmosphere is unlike anything else I’ve experienced, with sculptures of all sizes casually displayed throughout. The coffee bar is reasonably priced and the cappuccinos and espressos are delicious, and the pastries and wonderful as well — I especially liked the jam tarts. The restaurant is pricier but a real treat — I especially enjoyed the grilled vegetables with mozzarella and the cacio e pepe.

We walked by this place by accident, since it was close to our hotel. We sat down on the patio and were ready to order… when my husband discovered a few random statues on the inside — Rome I’m telling you! We enjoyed having lunch with a few stony popes and the food was the best meal we had in Rome! Do yourself a favor and order the homemade lemon pasta, called ‘Taglionlini al limo’ OMG!
