Charming place with very interesting décor. American music was a bit loud, but had a good song selection. Food was very good with interesting and new flavors and very fresh vegetables on our green salad and bruschetta. The service was horrible — we were nearly forgotten after getting glasses of wine and water glasses that were never filled. Never once saw the waiter again after the food was delivered. Someone else brought the check. Too bad — it started out as a neat little place.

Loved this bar/​coffee shop vibe. Cool people. Cool set up. Dark and cozy, and a bit whimsy. Equally cool for a coffee or a grappa.

When thinking of places off the beaten path one tends to try to go to unfamiliar locations but in Rome, what hasnt been touched — almost spoiled? This amazing restaurant! Walked in here after walking past a place with what you can tell would be horrible service and we were welcomed in immediately.
Given menus and the tots adorbs waiter waited patiently– something you don’t come across often here in Rome. We were offered a selection of the brunch buffet or to order off the menu, and while the brunch buffet looked delicious we chose to order off the menu and we are so happy we did.
We had the ceviche and cannelloni with ricotta and porcini mushrooms which were both OUT.OF.THIS.WORLD!!! The vibe and interior is super funky, hipster, beatnik, speakeasy; think the Italian version of Alice In Wonderland vibe — totally dope. Wish we would have discovered this place sooner.
Oh, one more thing: everything you see, as far as the décor, is on sale! That funky light fixture? Yup, for sale. That statute over there? Yup, buy it! The sink in the hallways? It can be yours for the right price! SIGH. I so wish I could relocate it like a damn mobile home! ENJOY!

Great wines and drinks at this quirky bar. I also ordered the apéritif buffet which was tasty. Great place to stop by and wait for the restaurants to open for dinner!

great place, love the interior design, it is really interesting and different. Food is great and delicious, they also offer great cocktails. Staff is friendly and fun. Would recommend as place to go when in Rome :)

My husband was a huge fan of the décor and ambiance at AK Bar. Friendly staff, stiff drinks, and cleanish bathrooms. Lots of people hanging out just outside the bar with dogs and having a smoke. Recommended stop for a drink if you’re in the area!

Discovered this place by chance. Peeked inside and saw a spread of brunch items. Choice of one plate for 6eu or all you can eat for 12eu. Amazing food, including freshly made cheese. Wonderful décor and atmosphere.
