I may sound like a broken record when I say their drinks were amazing and the aperitivo selection was impressive. I wish I had gotten a picture but unfortunately the table I was at had a green light over it and everything turned into different shades of green. The table was split between getting the fluid or the strawberry margarita. I happen to love passion fruit so I got the fluid and it was exceeding fresh and fruity. My friends who got the strawberry margarita got their drink in a huge bowl and it was light and refreshing. I’m sure all of their drinks are equally delicious and I would definitely recommend for happy hour.

Fluid is a nice lounge for those that are not into the crazy club scene. We arrived as the doors opened for happy hour(7−9pm). During this time you can pay 8.50 euro for your first drink and unlimited bar bites. The bar bites are set up buffet style along the bar. There were 8 – 10 dishes including gnocchi, salads, hot dogs, and rice. The owner and staff were very pleasant. It is located near several restaurants if you are looking to eat a full dinner.

Definitely the coolest place for aperitivo that I’ve seen in Rome. Scan through the pictures of this place. If you’re not already sold, let me tell you more about it. I purchased one drink, which was about 12 euro and looked like a beautiful, pink terrarium. There were FULL sprigs of herbs in the drink. Get a cocktail! If you go early enough, there’s the aperitivo snack buffet spread. You get limitless plates of food, and everything that I tried was quite delicious. While I gave this place 5 stars, there’s one odd thing to note: it was supposed to open at 5pm, but when we showed up, they hadn’t yet opened and told us to return at 6; then when we arrived at 6(we were STARVED), they still hadn’t opened. We were a bit indignant once we finally got in at 6:30ish. Thankfully, there are plenty of places nearby to sit and have a drink or coffee.

The daiquiris here are so so good — made with fresh ingredients(order the rock melon if they have it!) and humongous. Décor looks a little outdated but it’s something different and it’s fun to squish the stuff on the table tops(you’ll see what I mean, it’s like a squishy layer on the top of the tables). All in all good and close to Piazza Navona.

Walked in on a Sunday night around 11 pm and there was a good amount of people. We wanted to go to La Maison to dance like fools, but it was closed so we decided to get drinks(woohoo for being of age). It was dark inside and looked pretty cool. The chairs looked like giant ice cubes and were heated! Not really, it was actually the lights in the ice cube chairs that made them warm haha but it felt amazing on a rainy day. The floors and tables are really neat — they change when you step on them/poke them. It looks like an oil spill on the tiles. The space isn’t that big — there’s a bar and two rooms. The waiter said that on some nights, they have dance parties. I personally hate the taste of strong alcohol unless it’s covered up by lots of sugar and fruity goodness, so I ordered the Fluid. It was so yummy and sweet haha I could barely taste the vodka in it. It was loaded with passion fruit and super tart/fresh. It even came in a mason jar #sohip. Em ordered the Fluid special which was a mango version of it. The taste of vodka was slightly more noticeable. Scar ordered an almond daiquiri, which was pretty nasty in my opinion because I don’t like the taste of alcohol. That must mean it was pretty legit. My friends who are more alcoholic-ly experienced than me said it was pretty good quality. Service was slow — but that’s the case with most Italian restaurants. Waiters all spoke English and were pretty patient/nonjudgemental when we ordered so I’m assuming a lot of foreigners come here. The drinks were pricey — 12 euros each but the experience/ambiance was worth it. And the fruity drinks were so yummy!

It was a decent club. I visited it back in July of 2007 with my girlfriend. It had some awesome décor… I think this place has changed though… I remember they used to have nice pours. I asked for a single Tanqueray and Tonic and the bartender poured me a triple.

We were looking for a place to dance initially, but we ran into this instead. It was a close second to what we wanted and it wound up being pretty cool. We had ourselves a few cocktails, sat down on the ice cube chairs and enjoyed the waterfall light show on the walls. The décor is pretty cool and it was an overall pretty awesome place to find in Rome. Weirdly enough, when looking at the pictures of this place on the website, the décor looks like it has changed. Either that or the décor is strategically not being shown. The décor I remember had blue lights all over the walls with water running down. However, the décor I am seeing on the website is a bunch of curtains. If it has changed, that is a shame. If it is hiding, then you’ll have a nice surprise when you get there.
