This place is so easy to miss. You’ll walk by it 100 times, but absolutely go in at least once! We went here for dinner twice while staying in the area. It’s very traditional, and has a great wine list. I would recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and I had dinner here a couple of nights ago and the food and wine were delicious, not a place to miss while in Rome. My husband had the Truffle pasta which was outstanding. There was so much Truffle in it, what flavor! I had a pasta dish that was also quite tasty. We each had a glass of Chianti which was outstanding, loved it. We found this is more of a place where locals eat so my suggestion, GOHERE, locals know best. While not inexpensive it certainly did not break the bank and was worth every penny.

Classic latian cuisine, I had anti pasto and secondi, and the kitchen suggested to try a little bit of everything. I don’t think I’ve ever recieved that much food apart from buffets in my entire life haha. Anyway, everything was good, maybe a bit too much butter and oil for my taste, but very different compared to the«usual italian food»(pasta and pizza etc.), Quite pricey but a warm and friendly staff, and good wine. Overall a nice experience.

One of the best kept secrets in Rome. This gorgeous little trattoria is atmospheric, quiet, not overrun with tourists, and does the best truffle pasta in Rome, the rigatoni alla carcerata, or ‘prison pasta’. There’s a great story that goes along with the pasta, and the incredibly lovely Fabrizio will tell you if you ask nicely. Everything is superb, though, including the incredible house wine, the carciofi, the limoncello, and the delectable amaro. Don’t miss the truffle rigatoni, though – it’s the specialty and so delectable.
