Terrific lunch… daughter wanted to return again today. She had a pizza and I had the eggplant followed by chocolate mousse and lemon sorbet type dessert.

I would come back here a dozen more times if I could! Great service– we were greeted by the host outside and given a picturesque table outdoors. They also have reasonable quick wifi, a rarity in Europe(something only tourists really care about) Delicious food — I had the straciatelli and my wife had the ravioli, both dishes were absolutely fantastic! Enough to dip the rest of the sauces in bread to finish:)

Great place with reasonable prices in positano! Definately try the pizza with thr rocket on top… it was really good! Make reservations or come as soon as they open because the place gets packed!

Nice setting, especially the outdoor seating on a hot summer night. The food was middle of the road for Positano — not the worst meal I had, but not the best either. It’s a bit further up the hill than the bulk of restaurant offerings, but you’ll be rewarded for your trek with better food and better value for money.

Saraceno is a Positano-on the hill restaurant that you HAVE to go if you don’t mind a little hike on your way to a pizza feast. We stayed in Positano for 2 nights and had chosen this location as our dinner spot for both evenings. During our visits, we tried Octopus caprese salad(out of this world fresh and delicious), antipasto di mare(mix seafood appetizer which tasted really good), eggplant parmesan(cheesy and obviously delicious), swordfish in tomato sauce(a-ma-zing) and 2 different types of pizza(no regrets). We also ordered panno cotta(can skip) and chocolate cake(don’t you dare to skip this). The most we paid for dinner for 2(incl. a bottle of wine) was around 60 euros, which is very reasonable in comparison to other locations in the town. On your way to Saraceno, you will pass fancy and romantic restaurants such as Next2 but never mind those and keep walking. Your efforts will be rewarded.

My wife and I recently went to Positano for our honeymoon. What a beautiful place! The staff at Saraceno d’oro was by far the most friendly and welcoming of our entire trip. They really engage every customer. Pepe is the best! He is such a nice guy and tries to make your entire experience unique and fun! Maria Theresa, again was awesome! It feels like you are part of the family. So here is what we ate… Pizza-Amazing-Thin and fresh Breaded Veal-Really good and a great change from pasta everyday Sea Bass-Tasted incredible-Ask Pepe to help you take the bones out, he is a surgeon. Tartufo desert-Extremely good chocolate ice cream. We ate at many different restaurants in Positano, this was by far the best all around experience! Thanks to Pepe, Maria Theresa and the entire staff!

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten, really warm and friendly staff, and as others have said, incredibly reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a tasty, easy, fun evening, this is your spot.

Went for lunch on our first day in Positano. Staff was welcoming. While we felt totally fine/safe, the outside tables are on the other side of the street across from the restaurant on busy Pasitea. Melon was ripe and prosciutto was fresh. Nothing amazing, but very good nonetheless. Pizza on the other hand was phenomenal. Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and little else. Fresh and simple. We didn’t have any pasta, but for pizza, this place is a no brainer. Note that, like many restaurants in the area, there is a € 2 per person cover charge.

This place is amazing! Great food, amazing service! I was blown away by the service– best we have had during our whole trip. We had a Positano pizza and the tiramisu and it was delicious. Whilst we were eating some musicians came and played Classic Italian music for us. Just a great night! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a drink, looking for a good place for dinner. Ran into a rude waitress. Ended up eating at another place.

O ambiente é muito agradável, a comida muito boa e o antedizendo é muito bom! O preço é muito justo, e o Sorbetto di Limone é muito bom, vem dentro de uma casca de limão congelado! Show, pena que só lembrei da foto no final… Rs

We had pizza here for lunch and our whole group was satisfied. We would definitely go again. Also of note seemingly one of the few places in town with beer on tap. Nice waitstaff and very nice outdoor area which was good during the heat of the mid-day sun. Solid choice.

Love this place. Especially for Pizza. Also some of the best prices that you’ll see in town! I went to Saracena multiple times and did take away once. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their dinner is very good(I had scialatielli and seafood, a local classic). But I think that the pizza is better. I was a huge fan of the Saracena pizza(funny enough) which was a classic margarita base with fresh cherry tomatoes, arugula and Parmesan cheese shaved on top. I highly suggest it. All the pizzas there are thin crust and full of flavor. The wine carafe here is quite good and I suggest that with your meal. For dessert the Delizia di Limone is very good and refreshing. You must try this typical Amalfi coast dessert at least once while you are there. And I think Saracena really does it best. Oh be warned that their outdoor tables are close to the road, if you are nervous about that ask to sit inside or half inside, half outside on their little«terrace.»

Seriously? This place is just ok — there are many other spots with much better pasta. We read Unilocal reviews and were excited to try out the food — if you are into pasta as I am, refrain from eating here. You will find better elsewhere. Bruschetta and other fried appetizers were good, though.

We ate here when we first arrived tired, hungry and late in the afternoon where most of the restaurants were closing for the afternoon. The server was kind to us and took 6 people with a quick order of 4 pizzas and a calzone. Their pizzas were amazing! Positano, Margarita, Four Formaggio and Cheese with prosciutto. Fast service and unforgettable pizzas!

How many pizzas did we consume here? Can’t remember. But I’m sure we almost tried every pizza they have on their menu. When in the province of Italy where pizza was first created, you need to do just that! We enjoyed our belated honeymoon in Positano during the off-season(still very sunny and beautiful… just not as warm) and this was one of the restaurants that was open during that time. Lucky us! Food was great everytime, house wine was good, and service was friendly. Even recommended by the Michelin guide(win!). Don’t know what more you can ask for.

Went here last night and as we left we were already planning what we would order the following night! Prices are very modest. We ordered the roasted veggies for appetizers, I had the ravioli, my fiancée had the shrimp gnocchi, for dessert tiramisu and chocolate almond cake, 2 cappuccinos, and a ½ bottle of the house wine. All of this came to $ 67 euros The hero was definitely the gnocchi and the chocolate almond cake! I also thought it was nice that the service was not rushed, showed everything was being made fresh. The waiter Daniel was great and even though he spoke English well he spoke(and sang) to us in Italian. We’ve been on the coast for a week now and so far the best restaurant.

Words cannot express how much I love this place. Long story short: When I was 13, I spent a month in Positano. I practically ate here every day because I lived above this restaurant(basically, it’s like a bed and breakfast in Italy). I cannot deny that this may mean that my review is biased. But this place’s food will rock your world. I had the opportunity to come back here recently, and let me tell you, this place’s food is exactly as I remembered. Almost everything here is delicious – pizza, pasta, fish… you name it. I would not be afraid to order everything on the menu – you will not be disappointed! Most of the people who work here are also incredibly nice. It’s just a nice family owned restaurant. I actually knew the grandfather who started the whole business… he was still around when I was 13 and living there. It’s great to see his children carrying on his legacy. Another reason why you should try this restaurant is because their prices are beyond reasonable. Positano is becoming more and more of a tourist trap… and everything is very expensive(and not worth it. I don’t mind paying more for a meal if it’s going to be awesome). This is probably one of the only restaurants that has reasonable prices in the area – so why not give it a chance? I dock one star off only because one of the waiters was pretty rude to us after we asked him a couple of questions(language barrier).
