This hotel is nice. We stayed here for a night while traveling and had a good experience. The man at the front desk was unreal. I called downstairs and he set me up with dinner in the port and a driver and everything. It was pure class. The door man was also a huge help. We had a lot of luggage and they never complained once and were always super helpful. The rooms don’t really match the décor of the hotel but whatever. The view from our room was INSANE. It overlooked the water and was a dream come true. The breakfast is also pretty good downstairs. Everything for breakfast is complimentary with the room so don’t be shy. I suggest staying here if you are given the opportunity.

We stayed here during our visit to Portofino and really enjoyed it. It’s a boutique hotel situated just on the outskirts of the village. As the village is very small only a couple of really small hotels exists in the village itself and pretty hard to get unless you book months in advance. The village is a 5 mins walk from the hotel using a pedestrian path. The hotel has parking and they have a secure garage. The rooms are really nice and clean and the sea view from here is lovely. There is a private lounge area for people staying at the hotel but the beach below is a public beach and well hidden. Unless you know this beach is there you are not likely to find it. Next to the lounge area they have a terrace restaurant and lunch is served there. Up above in the garden is another eating area for dinner. All of the outdoor areas have great sea views. The breakfast room is indoors and does not have views. Staff are very friendly and available to help when needed. Food here is pretty good and made fresh to order. I had a delicious fish for lunch and enjoyed it. All in all a lovely hotel and I would happily return here again.

On a walk we stopped for a drink at the hotels beach front bar. The bars setting overlooking a cove with views of Portofinos water way is absolutely beautiful . What wasn’t so beautiful was the exorbitant prices charged for food and drink! Plus our«up-selling» waiter made for a bit of an uncomfortable experience. We don’t believe the experience was worth the price.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it! We had a lovely room with a picturesque patio over looking the water. The room was clean and modern and we sat on the patio for hours admiring the bay. We were only here two nights, but this is a great hotel to stay at in Portofino for a night or two and in walking distance to the adorable port town.

A éviter donc.
