We only tried one item at Pasticceria Mazzara but what a glorious one item it was. The pasticceria is famous for their cornetti(Italian for croissants) and the cornetto ricotta there are especially good. And airy yet crisp cornetto stuffed with sweet ricotta cream and then showered with powdered sugar. Indulgent, delicious, and perfect for that sugar high you may need walking through Palermo.
