This is a tourist trap. The salad was an oil-soaked disgusting mess. The cutlery was dirty and there were flies every where.

They know how to make a good espresso but the place is always very busy.

Allegedly one of the best coffee places in the whole Napoli, but besides the regular espresso you will have to try the Hazelnut Coffee and you can’t be disappointed. Absolutely delicious!

Best espresso ever! I don’t normally order espresso but my friend recommended that I go to Il Vero Professore. I tried the Caffe Nocciolato and fell in love. I have been trying to replicate it at home ever since but always fail. If you are visiting Napoli, this place is a spot you should check out!

Just. divine. I was here six weeks ago and still remember the taste as though it were this morning. The caffè nocciolato will knock you off your feet. This is no ordinary espresso, though the Napolitans take the cake on that score as well. Caffè nocciolato is an espresso with a kind of hazelnut cream top served in a kind of shot-glass. It’s wonderfully sweet and wickedly tasty. The«bar» itself(there is only a bar inside and a few tables outdoors) is quite small but the barristas are kind, patient, and always happy to serve up their elixirs to appreciating tourists. But Nota Bene: there are Caffè del Professore’s everywhere in Naples(and elsewhere in Italy). This is the«vero» caffè, the real one! The others are, apparently, spinoffs of the successful original(they have a great big wall of photos with the richi and famosi who dropped in for a shot!)
