Gelateria Vernazza

Great tasting gelato. With so many options in the area you can’t go wrong with most but this is also one of the best

La meilleure glacé des cinque terre! Boutique sur via corso au centre ville de la spezia et à vernazza a également. Petits tant avec environ une dizaine de choix de parfum tous aussi bons les uns que les autres. Nous avons goûté citron, merveilleux, ainsi que chocolat blanc, abricot menthe et pêche basilic. Original et au bon goût de fruits frais! Les prix sont peu chers comme partout à peu près en Italie, 2 euros pour 2 parfums, largement suffisant. Le côné est également très savoureux, le meilleur que j ai pu goûter jusque-​là! Devant le stand un petit coin banc pour déguster la glacé.

Lemon granita is full of lemon pulp and is very tart. Crema di anything is delicious, but you have to get the amarena (black cherry), which also has chocolate flakes and dried cherries. Open after 8pm, which is huge if you want some gelato after dinner in Vernazza.

This gelateria was the best we had in Cinque Terre, and we had some every day of our stay. Our host picks the lemons herself in Vernazza, and the lemon flavor will give you a taste of the region’s famous fruit. There are other famous regional flavors, including the Cinque Terre crema, which is made with sweet white wine (this area is known for its white wine).

Not the best gelato in Italy, but probably the best in the Cinque Terre.
Their selection of flavors is superb and includes everything from traditional Italian varieties, to regional specialities like «Crema 5 Terre» (sweet wine-​flavored cream topped with chocolate, illustrating the region’s long history as a producer of white wine), to seasonal flavors (be sure to check out the chalkboard outside).
I went with the above Crema and their Ricotta & Fig. The latter was the better of the two: it was filled with large, substantial chunks of fresh figs and swirly fig goodness. I recommend getting it, or whatever flavor they currently have using seasonal fruits.
Consistency is good, and colors are dull, signifying natural ingredients, real fruit, and less sugar.
Located right at the heart of Vernazza, halfway from the station to the harbor; you can’t (and shouldn’t) miss it.

This was the only gelateria open after our dinner and the gelato was great! Great place for your post-​dinner dessert if you’re staying in Vernazza!

Oh my gosh. Gelato like I haven’t seen before! And cannoli to boot! Girl behind counter was friendly, gave us samples. I had marena reale and crema chantilly. There were toppings on most types, and 18 flavors to pick from. The place is clean and easy to get to.

Chocolate was excellent as was the Vernazza flavor (raspberry swirl)
Pistachio was okay

My husband and I tried 2 gelato places in Vernazza — and I liked this one the best, since the portion size was nice and the server was friendly. I can’t remember now what flavor I got, but there’s at least 8 – 10 flavors you can choose from. The price was reasonable, but you just have to walk towards the train station from the harbor in order to find it. It’ll be located on your left hand side… there’s prolly a line inside once you step in. :)

Easy to find-​Very clean– looks like all natural flavors-​colors– no artificial.
No line– walked in and had a selection of about 12 flavors or so. I wanted to try the one that was caramel but no tastes are allowed– either buy it and like it or.
SO I stuck to my «safe“choices– chocolate and stracciatella– super creamy-​very flavorful and the piccolo (small size) for 2 euro was perfect !
I took off one star since not a single taste was allowed… i know the product is pricey but 1 free taste should be allowed…

no tables inside but plenty of little walls and steps outside or walk down to the harbor and enjoy!
