Interesting restaurant specialising in Calabrian food. What I tried there was a mix of convincing and less convincing dishes. They make their own pasta here. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is nice. It may get a bit loud if full. I think this place deserves 3.5 stars but since it´s not possible to give half stars I will give them 4.

Super adresse ! Délicieux. Service à l’écoute. Même si le français n’est pas super bien compris, à coup d’anglais et d’italien, on a ce qu’on désire. Par contre, il faut vraiment réserver pour avoir une table.

This was recommended to us from our AirBnB hosts. It was a cozy pålace with good value for money and you are surrounded by locals. The pasta is homemade, and it gets very busy so I suggest going earlier or booking a table. From the outside it doesn’t even look like a place you would give a second thought but the spicy sauaage on toast was AMAZING! I would go back just for that!

Great Calabrian restaurant. It looks like it might be run by a family. The prices were reasonable, especially 2.50 for the quarter-liter of their excellent house red. I had the Jonica which is basically an arrabiata but if I go again I would have gotten something more complicated, probably with ricotta. The tagliata is very nice — high quality meat sliced then cooked on a plate. It is enough to be filling but not so much that I wanted to die like I sometimes do after ordering steak in Firenze. The side salad I ordered was also frech and nice and the oil and vinegar were high quality. The tiramisu was so light and flavorful. The other desserts they were carrying out looked excellent also. 35 Euro total. Comparing this to the meal I had at Taverna Trilussa in Rome, which was 34 Euro when I didn’t get a meat dish or dessert, is like night and day.

Molto buono soprattutto se ti piace cibo leggermente piccante! La pasta con salsiccia ed i dolci valgono la pena… Ci torno regolarmente

DonGio is located on a quiet street, away from all the popular sightseeing areas. But thanks to Michelin guide, I found this restaurant and could enjoy wonderful food. Wines are very reasonably priced. Pasta dishes were simple but very tasty. Veal cutlet Milano style was also simple but perfect. Service was very warm and excellent too.

This place is great, but you better book. It is Calabrian food so the dishes with chili and sardines are great. Really great pastas. The place across the street Pasta Madre is also great, but even smaller.
