El Refolò

Bustling, inexpensive, friendly and hopping… everything one could want on a Saturday night!

My wife and I tried this bar after putting it on our radar and feeling put off by the reception we received at Harry’s Bar (which incidentally only received 2.5 stars from TripAdvisor). Earlier in the day, we met fellow tourists who highly recommended the Bellini drink at Harry’s Bar so off we went searching for the place, only to be disappointed by the treatment we received… like they couldn’t care less whether we patronized their establishment or went elsewhere… so off we went to El Rofolo. El Rofolo was actually closer to our hotel and it looks like a local hangout that was very welcoming. We were treated like we were regulars, with friendly vibes all around.
We really liked their version of the Bellini drinks and their cicchetti were delicious. Best of all, the total for two drinks and three cicchetti was just 13 Euros (unlike most bars close to Piazza San Marco charging 9 Euros for a Bellini)! What a great find.

Je rejoins l’avis précédent, ce bar est très sympa et exactement ce qu’on cherchait pour prendre un verre au milieu des habitants du quartier, la terrasse né désemplit pas, les verres et les corbeilles de chips non plus, ça s’enchaine à vive allure.
Comptez 3 € pour un spritz, libre à vous de choisir entre l’amertume bien prononcée du campari et la saveur plus douce de l’apéro, vous pouvez aussi tester l’un puis l’autre puis l’un puis l’autre… A votre santé !

Great bacari away from the tourists. The spritz was cheap and good, endless potato chips, outside seating and friendly bartenders. Fun 70s and 80s music. Lots of locals stop by after work for a quick drink and chatting. My favorite place in Venice!

Un bar très sympa, très vénitien, fréquenté à l’heure de l’apéritif par les habitants dans une ambiance très village. a recommander pour ceux qui recherchent l’authenticité à Venise. Peut etre nous croiserons nous car j’en ai fait mon QG à chacun de mes séjours
