I heard great things about this place and was excited to check it out. Apart from that the guy who welcomed us looked like he would murder us, the toilet is a hole in the ground and that I got food poisoned and threw up 4 times later the same night it seemed to be a good place with friendly staff. Unfortunately my whole day sightseeing in Milan the next day was ruined. I don’t remember the names but I believe it was the pickled-like fish with the onion on top or the fishiest little bite with a dark circle in the middle who made me sick. The one they recommended to eat last on the appetizer sampler plate. I wasn’t blown away about the food and if it wasn’t for the food-poisoning I would rate the food a 3 and the place and staff 3.5.

Family owned and operated… Warm, friendly, and the food is over the top delicious! We tried fish prepared six different ways and each one was fantastic. This young couple(husband is a fisherman) know how to entertain! The fish was the best I’ve had on Lake Como(well prepared and creative), and the prices are ridiculously low. They have an excellent wine selection, beautiful(really the presentation is lovely) gelato, and the service is perfectly choreographed. Make a reservation, because this place fills up fast and is a must as far as food experiences go on the lake.
