Trattoria Vittoria used to be one of the stars of fish cuisine in Florence, the ambient is vintage and resembles the old «trattoria» of many years ago but with some posh twists, service used to be impeccable and the food was good. Came back last night, the ambient is still there, service was not so great (waiters were rather clumsy when bringing the dishes), food was so and so (our pasta was a bit too hard, gnocchi tasted of nothing, cacciucco was a «joke»).
The fish is still fresh and starters were great as usual, but for such an high price (70 euros per person) I expect more, or better, I expect what I used to have before.
Maybe was just an unlucky night, the owners are really nice people, but there are much better places in Florence for fish right now…
