Beautiful pizza, cute location-they make it right in front of you. First time in Italy and this was exactly the pizza experience I was waiting for! Exceeded expectations!

This is, without a doubt, the absolute best pizza I have ever had. Don’t go anywhere else in Florence. The prices are great– around 7 to 10 euros. The staff is incredibly friendly. I was extremely impressed with everything they had to offer.

My husband and I both agree that this is THE best pizza we have ever had in our lives. Before ordering, I asked the waiter which pizza was his favorite, and so thankful I did. He answered #9 on the menu without hesitation(white sauce, mozzarella, blue cheese, and thinly sliced pear). Genius flavor combination.(His other favorite was #5). Note: Be sure to go a couple doors down to the homemade ice cream shop for dessert. Really, really good ice cream with natural flavors, including one with real bits of cheese!

Without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. The service was very good, the wine delicious and the atmosphere terrific. Even though this is a small place we never felt hurried to leave the table. The Florentine pizza was served on a wooden board with a thin ciabatta crust and is available with a variety of toppings. Very good value.

Tiny and cute pizzeria with great service and amazing food! I was starting to get really tired of the famous italian bad service and this place made my day :) Even the music was perfect to spend a very nice moment, enjoying the good wine they offer too. I took the pizza with homemade pesto, cheese and fresh cherry tomatoes… best pesto I’ve ever had! The Carpaccio with Bresaola salad is also worth the try ‘cos their cheese is delicious. I highly recommand this place. Prices are totally fine too.

STOP, here if you have a chance it is a MUST! The handcraft pizza dough, the pesto, the tomato sauce, all homemade results in a delicious most succulent pizza I have ever tasted! It was so delicious, every time people would walk pass the restaurant pondering if they should eat here, I would exclaim, «no ragrets!» My uncle LeeRoy used to say, «With great food comes great company.» We shared out love for their wine, the food, the service with our surroundings and even shared a couple of cheers with the table near us and that’s how much we enjoyed the service and food here a Mangia Pizza. Jon Snow would approve* Cheers.

Went based on the reviews and not disappointed. Not your typical pizza, more of a flatbread. Very thin, crisp crust, served rectangular. Fresh ingredients. Not much space but tables turn pretty quickly. I had the white pizza(about half the pizzas are white) with pears and gorgonzola. Had a large, probably could have had a small, and it was quite good. Thin sliced pear, nice flavor, and crispy crust.

This place was awesome! Wine was great, however i was hoping the lambrusco would be sweeter. I would recommend the«Margherita» and«Rosa con mozzarella fior di latte e N’ duja(salame calabrese piccante). The 2nd pizza was spicy. Overall great place and must go.

Pizza poets ~ Friendly, fast, delicious! Creative pizzas handcrafted and baked right in front of you. I had a white pizza with cherry tomatoes, balsamic, greens, and prosciutto. Shared a bottle of organic wine with the table. Guys were cool and spoke English: p

Avoid all the tourist traps and head straight to Mangia. Each pizza is hand crafted to perfection and if your fortunate enough to grab a stool at the bar, you can watch your meal be made in front of you. The ingredients are fresh and savory.

Great made to order pizza. $ 7 for the small one which is enough for one person(at least for us). They can even make vegan ones if you ask! Will come back again when in Florence

Very good pizza, right in the center of Florence. The shop itself is adorable. I came here right before closing one night and was one of the only people there. We sat right on the side, with a huge open window, almost like we were sitting outside. It’s tucked away on a back street which makes a little quieter and a perfect setting for dinner. We started with glasses of wine, which were both light and delicious. Then, for the pizzas, we ordered a red pizza with sundried tomatoes and buratta and a white pizza with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts. Both were so yummy and so different. The style of pizza here is a little bit different, more like a flatbread of ciabatta than a classic pizza, but this is very appreciated. The texture of the crust is crispy, while still soft in the middle, and holds up well to the toppings. The red pizza was slightly sweet, pairing very well with the(insanely) creamy buratta. The white pizza had a definite blue-cheese kick to it, balancing with the sweet pears and hearty walnuts. Two small pizzas was a perfect amount for two people(leaving room for gelato, of course). It’s a little pricier than some other favorite pizza places in Florence, but I’d definitely come back here, I’d maybe even do takeout for an easy dinner, too. Our service was very lovely as well. There was one water/chef/bartender and he was very friendly, making conversation with us and helping us with what to order(they were both his favorite pizzas). My only tiny criticism is that it’s not the«classic» pizza experience, that I had been expecting, but a delicious and unique take. Definitely recommend it!

We had passed this pizzeria numerous times while we were in Florence and finally stopped to have lunch. To our surprise the pizza was great and staff very friendly and service was fast. It’s not a large place but is quick service if you have to wait it won’t be long. We ordered one mixta salad and two small pizzas. The salad was full of artichoke hearts olives and a perfect balance to the lettuce. Since we shared the salad we just ordered two small pizzas and it was just enough. We ordered #13 and #14 one white and one red and we were both sorry we didn’t order the larges since they were so good. The crust was thin and crispy and just enough toppings and sauce. This restaurant style is a semi self service, were you have table service to order but you get up and select your drinks and service wear. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Very, very nice pizzeria. Everything is homemade, to order, and delicious. One of their medium pizzas(€ 9 – 10) is enough for a lunch, and they sell drinks at decent price for Italy(€ 1 a 0.5L water bottle). It is quite small so not advised for 4+ people groups, but be patient if there is no table available when you arrive — it is a lunch spot, so people come and leave quite quickly. A little wait is totally worth is to eat such delicious pizzas, I swear.(That being said, we didn’t wait at all when we went there :))

Based on the very positive feedback from my Unilocal predessesors, we decided to give this pizza place a try, and thus got a taste of these pizza highlights. This is a tiny little place, with small seats and tables, but clean and tastefully decorated. The mood is cosy yet modern, with an ecological, homegrown focus on the food. The opening times on the door when we were there is 12 – 19 so get here early. One gets to chose pizza in small or medium size, so one can sample several. The aim is to bring out the taste of the ingredients in a balance way, so the compositions are kept limited, avoiding overpowering condiments. This really brought delight to our palates. Imagine finding a pizza gem like this just a few steps into a sidestreet close to the Ponte Vecchio.
