Reliably solid Italian food. The pizzas were very good and the bruschetta was excellent. The prices were lower than you tend to find in central Florence and the great deal on the house wine wasn’t an indicator of its taste — it was great!

Very average place that serves pasta and pizza. Nothing special or of great local taste.

Molto Grazie to Vincenzo and the entire staff(and extended family and friends) for a fabulous meal. Very relaxed and casual setting, with some of the best food we have had in Italy! Tuscan salami, Ribolitto Soup, the best Pasta Putanesca we have ever had. The pizza was delicious, with the thinnest crispest crust we have found. Then, the surprise of desserts. A sample of many Italian desserts, accompanied by a Crema Catalan brought flaming to the table. A perfect evening!

I came across this restaurant because the one I was originally headed to was closed due to their summer vacation. I did not regret it! The people were nice and the menu provided several options. I ordered tortellini pasta and that is the moment I knew I would love pasta from Italy forever. Their sauce and cheese was fantastic and fresh. Definitely worth a try. Also, their coke is not extremely expensive; if you’ve ever been to europe you know a glass of coke is between 5 to 6 euros.

When it comes to fairly priced food, this place definitely deserves five stars. Seating is aplenty and they have seating outside or inside depending on your preference. The service is excellent. The one thing I noticed about dining out in Italy is that service tends to be slow, however this restaurant is very spot on. The food came out at a comfortable pace. I never felt that I had to flag down the waiter. We got a $ 9 house wine which is basically a HUGE jug of wine. It was actually pretty tasty and trust me I can tell when wine is not good. We got a spaghetti carbonara and a gnocchi pesto. The carbonara was creamy, smoky, flavorful and the pesto though not to my tastebuds’ liking, I can tell was freshly made. The tiramisu it was creamy and not as cake-like as I hoped for but the flavor was still very good. My absolute favorite part of the meal was the bruschetta. The olive oil that they used is so delicious and the tomatoes are very very fresh. I have to say that of all the bruschetta that I’ve tried on this Italy trip, this was the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. Bruschetta, carbonara spaghetti, gnocchi pesto, huge jug of house wine, tiramisu and a large bottle of water was a total of 35 euros. Such a great price for such a delicious meal. 7 minute walk from my hotel and less then 10 minutes to great shopping. Free and strong wifi. We were sitting around for 1.5 hours and I never felt rushed to finish my meal. I sat around and plan but I was planning to do for the rest of the day. An extra plus is that if you sit inside there’s actually an air conditioning unit. The staff here is wonderful. 5 stars all the way! Would definitely come back one day.

Be patient with the slow start as good things are to come! Food was freshly prepared. Hint: I found the florentine pizza a bit salty but it was tasty when the capers were removed!

This place is amazing! The tomato soup is so good! Everything here was delicious and you can get ½ L of the house wine for just € 5. Highly recommend to travelers

we arrived to Florence, checked into the hostel, and were starving so we wandered around looking for a place to eat. for a while we were seemingly stuck in the tourist area(menu in 5 languages with accompanying pictures) and that never makes for good eats. we eventually couldn’t take it any more and just sat down at the next place we saw that was not too pricey. the fresh pasta was simple but delicious, and we split a liter of house wine which wasn’t bad either. they have outside shaded seating which is always a plus.

Such a simple restaurant. But the food was so flavorful. Great house wine too. We had a penne arrabiatta and a mushroom risotto. I definitely recommend.

Had lunch here soon after arriving in Florence. Pizza was good. I had the Panna pizza with a white sauce, cheese, mushrooms and ham. Different for me, but good! Also ordered an Americano, and since we’ve been in Italy, we’ve just been drinking Cappuccinos. It was nice to relax with a larger cup of coffee, but I think I’ve gotten accustomed to the Italian espresso. Waiters were very friendly and helpful.

Needed an end of our trip to Italy with a few of our favorites – pizza, Caprese, prosciutto, spaghetti, and wine. Great place to end a wonderful trip to Italy!

Very good freshly made pizza — one of the better ones in Florence. Casual place very close to the station. The Grill House — right next to it serves ultra-casual, very inexpensive, but very good Mediterranean fare.

Ok first place we came across in Florence on a windy day whilst wsiting for the apointed time to pick up a hire xar witb 2 grumpy sick girls. The food was honest enough reasonable flavour, quick to the table and not too expensive. So on the list of necessary requirements it was there. We had two pastas, a vege and bean soup and a pizza.

This is not only pizza, oh no. Pasta is exceptional! Try Tagliatelle AI funghi Porcini. Try Tagliata di carne angus argentino with mushrooms. The whole menu is great in this unexpected place. Service is great too. We lunched and dined here, and will sure do it again.

Really good pizza! Not too salty with a nice thin crust. We just got take out because I was feeling lazy. I ordered the mushroom sausage pizza. It was quite good and not expensive. They were not super busy on a Wednesday.

Quite good restaurant and busy too! We had to wait 20 to 25 mins to get a table. Service: in our case was slow, but then again the restaurant was packed so it could be understandable. The table was hard to get, they took the order very late but the food came at a reasonable time. Restaurant: was quite big and seemed very popular with the crowd. Food: Now this was what made us forget about the wait. We had grilled fish with vegetable and wasn’t over cooked and we loved. Then we have broasted Chicken which I was afraid in the beginning but it was delicious… moist, cooked well and tasted even better. We also had Beef Pasta and that was regular stuff but it was bad either.

Come off train at Firenze, this place is fast and yummy. Carbonara was great, my kids loved the pizza margarita, service was so prompt and courteous. Outdoor spot is in the street but your bags are safe.

My go to place for a good, quick meal. Their steak and arugula meal is very good. Part of what makes it good is that they use pretty heavily marbled beef. It’s got great flavor but can be fatty, some days more than others. That said, I’m not impressed by their ravioli but do like the focacce alla olio. Another benefit, they seem to always be open. No waiting until 7pm here, if you’re fresh of the plane and looking for dinner around 5pm or 6pm, no problem.
