Tried this place because it was right across the river from our hotel and we were craving anything Asian after days of only Italian food. It filled the need. The food is mediocre but we weren’t expecting much since we live in Los Angeles and are surrounded by good sushi places. Like all food in Italy, it’s expensive. I think it ended up being around $ 80USD, possibly more. In Los Angeles, this quality of food would’ve cost $ 30. All in all, glad it was there, but definitely not a must-eat.

Koko. It’s the sushi restaurant frequented by models, soccer players, and attractive rich boys. The quality of the fish and nori is excellent, even if it’s not really Japanese as others have pointed out. The menu is almost entirely sushi and roll based, lacking some of the cheaper basics in favour of more complex items with impressive displays. Décor is dark and modern, and is wearing badly, though for now looks sufficiently fancy to warrant the high price. Bottom line: the food is good, the price on the high end, this is a place for a special occasion and /or to be seen, more for groups than as a couple.
