Omg, the miso soup and the sushi!!! It’s amazing a place that combines the best Tuscan food: lampredotto and such a great sushi. Small and hidden, if you want a take a seat you need to reserve, but the atmosphere is so familiar and cozy.

I’ve been here several times and each one deserves a 5* for its amazing taste and simplicity. Self service, you order and you wait for your sushi to be express made. The Miso soup is homemade, so it’s completely something else compared to the other restaurants. The chef, a true Japanese in love with Florence, is in the open kitchen, showing his art to everyone, making delicious specialties like the frittata and marinated anchovies. Prices are really fair, wine is included in the 15 € menu, together with the soup and a plate of nigiri(sometimes if you get lucky it’s mozzarella di bufala’s nigiri day, try and see for yourself). If you can, BOOK a table, it’s quite always full and the place is as big as a mouse’s nest.

Very disappointing & not worth going back. If it were possible I would give it 0 stars. The sushi was really, really bad. The rice was over cooked, gluggy, not vinegary enough and not the right temperature and the fish ‘neta’ was warm and not fresh. It’s obviously not prepared just before serving. We also had the edamame which was probably defrosted and over boiled because the skin was too soft. The okonomiyaki was rubbery and flat without any katsuobushi or nori. It reminded me of Korean pancakes as it was not fluffy at all. Don’t go here expecting good Japanese food. And the menu is such a mish mash of everything, sushi AND motsunabe? Really? Is it supposed to be an Izakaya? Did I mention I’m Japanese? I’m kind of outraged that this place gets such high ratings. Go to Japan and please experience the real thing because this just doesn’t cut it. 辛口の口コミで申し訳ありませんが、日本人としておすすめできません。二度と行きません。
