The food was great. The only reason this isn’t five stars is because it’s real expensive. More than the €€ sign given here, I’d put it at €€€. Small portion of pasta for 12 euros, not to mention the 15 euro second course? It would have been reasonable if there was more pasta in the first course, but this is not a cheap eat.

What a great place. I stumbled in here for pranzo(lunch) and had a fantastic meal steps from the duomo. Very friendly service(which you don’t find too often in the tourist areas) and very accommodating to my food allergy — garlic!!! They made me a beautiful salmon dish and replaced the spinach with some grilled vegetables. It was delicious and lld fresh. The ambiance is lovely. Calm and welcoming. Modern décor with lovely lighting and I imagine it feels cool in here during a hot summer day. Oh and extra star for the great wifi. Lovely waitress too. Treating both the italians and the tourists alike with the same level of loveliness.

Only open 5 – 6 months but a gem that we found by accident! Hidden in a side street near Il Duomo is this modern beautiful ristorante with wonderful food! We got there very early by Italian standards but Luigi prepared wonderful bruschetta for us and we had wine and relaxed until the chef arrived. Then we split a primi carbonara pasta that was marvelous and a secondi of duck with a wonderful vin santo sauce. The ambiance was fabulous as u can see from the pictures, beautiful music, wonderful staff and great food. If we weren’t leaving today we would go back for sure!!! Next trip we will definitely return!
