In this lively side street in central Florence, this little café provides passers with nice ice cream after a warm day. The selection isn’t the largest of Florence, but it’s definitely quality over quantity: Try the dark chocolate ice cream! This dark, intense variant is — surprisingly — a sorbet, but is so creamy and rich in flavour, that you wouldn’t even notice. Also, the owner — who often serves the ice cream himself — is really kind, talkative and is always ready to advise you in combination of flavours. Once, after a conversation about the ice cream, he even showed me some of the production! It’s such a pleasure seeing and experiencing a person, who are so passionated about his job. The ice cream is great; maybe not the absolut #1 of Florence, but definitely really good. This, in combination with the service and experience, definitely makes it a five-star-experience.
