One of the best cafés in town for coffee and pastries. Keep an eye out for periodic events they host– for example I went to an aperitivo with the wines of Bibi Graetz with reps from the winery there presenting their wine line along with a tasty buffet of cheeses, crostini and cured meats.

I live this café and go frequently. The cappuccino and brioches are excellent. They offer a huge variety of breakfast pastries and savoury sandwiches in the morning. They begin the day with everything from classic cornetti, to croissants, to whole wheat or even multigrain varieties, ham and cheese sandwiches, cinnamon raisin rolls, danishes, donuts, turnovers and cookies. Obviously the pastries are of the Italian, not American style. I often feel that when writing reviews in English, something really does get lost in the translation. I digress. The coffee is amazing. At lunch they offer a whole spread of pastas, vegetable dishes, meats, fish and sandwiches. It’s antipasto bar or tavola calda style, where you choose from food that’s already freshly prepared and displayed. The prices are fixed by dish(primo, secondo, contorno) and range from about 5−8euro. For aperitivo they offer one of the most abundant buffets in the area, and the cocktails(alcoholic or non-alcoholic) are refined and super tasty. You tell them if you want something sweet, fruity, dry, your favourite flavour, etc and they surprise you. They have a nice selection of wines and prosecco available as well. Beware, they close at 8:30 sharp so get there early to really enjoy the buffet.
