So after a long fun-filled day, we were too exhausted to go anywhere or eat anything. Well, maybe I should disclose that I was the only one not hungry, because the hubs needed a snack/munchie. There’s not much around our hotel sans this place. A carryout margherita pizza and a soda were what we got. The margherita pizza wasn’t the tastiest(lots of dough and little in terms of sauce); it tasted pre-made. Price wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t eat here unless you also are too lazy to go get food and you are staying at the Grand Hotel.

stayed next door at the Grand Mediterraneo. Was too tired to go anywhere else so just ate next door. Free WiFi. Good Food. Good Prices. Good Service.

Visiting Italy with a tour. Someone needs to teach them how to make drip coffee and pizza and to stop serving cappacino in a thimble. Anyway, about the Bistro, had Prawns in Curry with rice and it is the best dish I have had in Italy. My wife had pizza, same as everywhere thick dry dough, same .5 inch of tomatoe sauce, same unmelted cheese. Capppacino was also best I have had decent size, «New York» cheese cake was good, but not«New York». Staff was excellent, atmosphere very nice in a casual way, a little noisy, but not loud. Menu in Engilsh as well as Italian. Over all an excellent restaurant for an American in Florence.
