Well renowned restaurant sited on the corner of the Piazza Signoria. Great for drinks and/or a meal. Good service, really tasty food and comfy surrounding to watch the world go by. Very friendly service by attentive staff. Well worth a visit but, remember, closed on Mondays.

Lunch time strolling through Florence. Had tasty Risotto and mushrooms and the wife had a toasted Ham, Cheese and tomatoe sandwich. But the best part was the chocolate filled pie slice. Forgot what it was called. But my wife raved over it. Great setting, people were helpful and polite.

This rating is strictly based on the desert/gelato. We didn’t sit down nor eat the other food they have. There really isn’t much to say, but if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth to stop in and grab some gelato. The Bar Perseo is a nice«retro-Italy» theme’d café with loads of gelato and desert options. I ended up going with their creamed vanilla and pound cake gelato, which tasted amazing.

My wife and I stopped here for a bite to eat at lunchtime while wandering Florence. The waiter was good about helping to find dishes that were gluten free. The food was okay, and the service was okay. You can’t beat the scenery, either(and an awesome marching band went by as we were eating). On the down side, we were approached multiple times while sitting at the café outdoors by people begging for money, all very aggressive. I understand that’s part of reality as a tourist in Florence, but I really didn’t expect it while sitting at lunch. So, I wouldn’t go back here again, though that’s not really the restaurant’s fault exactly.

The Tortellini with ham and peas was half-cooked and raw. But a glass of red wine and a glass of coke cost $ 16, what a rip-off! This was our second night in Florence and we felt taken. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped here for drinks and really enjoyed the people watching. The wine was good, the mixed cheese tray was ok, but the people watching was awesome.

Vibrant outdoor café right on the square. Stopped here for a drink while we waited for our hotel room to be ready.
