The place is near mercato centrale and duomo. The aircondition in our room is not good. Breakfast is ok.

This hotel is disgusting! It’s considered a 4 star hotel, yet I see no stars. When we checked in the front desk was less than helpful. Our room was dark and dingy. I went to the bathroom and the water went all over the bathroom. We called the front desk to ask for another room and they said no they would fix it. They came in put the pipe back on, used our towels to clean up the water and told us to wait for it to dry. Then we noticed about 5 dead and 5 alive mosquitos all over and blood stains from others killing them. The worst part was the disgusting smell the bathroom exuded. We complained to our travel agent and had our room changed and upgraded. The next room still had a stench buy was a tiny bit bigger. Still a stand up shower with nothing inside not sure how they expect you to shower, hold soap, wash your hair and shave while holding everything. We woke up the third day with about 10 mosquito bites. The breakfast is all cold entrees and not much of it. Unfriendly staff(except the breakfast people). Do not go! In venice, rome and sorrento we stayed at other beautiful, clean, large 4 star hotels. Spend your money elsewhere.

Also abgehackt !

The room is absolutely not exceptional, it disappointed me. They’re not enough paintings, the shower is really too small ! There is not enough staff, the bar is empty. The breakfast is… Ridiculous, and the staff is not great at all. There is no «salon commun»… If you can, find another palace… There are better 3 stars’ hotels downtown, in Santa Maria novella’s quarter or in Santa Croce quarter. The bedroom’s are horrible, it’s disappointing me !

As a foreign traveler in Italy, it is a bit disconcerting to find so few outlets in a hotel room. In this day and age everyone has devices they want to charge, plus the wives devices, plus a CPAP to run. I had to run the power cable across the floor and unplug several lamps just to keep phones charged. It also didn’t help that the room next door to our room was under construction which meant there was painting going on, as well as lots of assorted construction rubbish around. To be completely fair, it does seem that international hotels are similar enough to American hotels for this picky American.

The location is awesome, it is right by the trains. But the prices don‘t add up, it drives me insane! They charged us for an upgraded room, but I got regular instead. And they charged us more for the tourist tax, € 1 extra per head! The room looked nice, and it was fairly tidy. But the shower was so small for even one person inside it. The breakfast was lack luster, and the staff were not so nice, so search for another hotel– that is my advice.
