Cavallino Matto

As far as I know this is the only amusement park in Tuscany and so a possible treat for young children who have seen too many churches and museums! Best suited to under 12s as there are no real thrill rides. My 8 year old can go on everything. Also toddler friendly areas. Nice setting in amongst the pine forests near the coast at Marina di Donoratico, easy to reach from the main road (Via Aurelia). Rides include: kiddy coasters, tame water splash ride, 3D cinema, quad bikes, swinging pirate boat, train, ‘jungle’ track. Only one days worth of stuff here and an easy day, not stressful like the bigger ‘theme’ parks, fair price, an old fashioned ‘amusement’ park.
