This is the best Japanese food in Como, based on trying five different restaurants there. It isn’t located in Como, it’s much closer to the Chiasso border, which is a bit more convenient. The sashimi quality is really good, and the rice was the right consistency and flavor. There is a lot of seating in the restaurant and a parking lot less then a block away. It’s not where Google maps places it. The service was a bit slow, but we sat in the Washitu room. Ordered: Wakame Salad — this was good, nothing really unique, but standard Agedashi Seafood — served warm, not hot, good flavor Spicy Salmon Handroll — WAY better than Kazan(which is flavorless) SashiSushi Boat — wanted to see what they had to offer, we typically lean toward only nigiri. Their sashimi was well cut and very fresh. The nigiri was cut a bit thin. Rolls were okay, but similar to other Como Japanese restaurants pretty rice heavy. Ikura — most unique ikura we’ve had, in that the roll was wrapped in salmon as well. must order
