Mori Sushi

This is the best Japanese food in Como, based on trying five different restaurants there. It isn’t located in Como, it’s much closer to the Chiasso border, which is a bit more convenient. The sashimi quality is really good, and the rice was the right consistency and flavor. There is a lot of seating in the restaurant and a parking lot less then a block away. It’s not where Google maps places it.
The service was a bit slow, but we sat in the Washitu room.
Ordered:
Wakame Salad — this was good, nothing really unique, but standard
Agedashi Seafood — served warm, not hot, good flavor
Spicy Salmon Handroll — WAY better than Kazan (which is flavorless)
SashiSushi Boat — wanted to see what they had to offer, we typically lean toward only nigiri. Their sashimi was well cut and very fresh. The nigiri was cut a bit thin. Rolls were okay, but similar to other Como Japanese restaurants pretty rice heavy.
Ikura — most unique ikura we’ve had, in that the roll was wrapped in salmon as well. must order
