Dining here is a culinary experience and was the best food I had during our 2 week trip through Italy. We had artichoke flour and s tomato pâté/risotto dish. We had pasta w duck sauce, Tbone filet, duck dinner and 2 kids pasta dishes. All were amazingly delicious! If in the area, this is a must do. Make a reservation so you can find outside. Stunning views of Tuscany. Good for well behaved children.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were looking for the bathroom at the wine store on our first stop of our Chianti wine trip. It is one of several restaurants on Via Ferruccio but when we looked past the main dining room(there are two big dining rooms indoors), we saw a gorgeous terrace overlooking the Tuscan vineyards. The view is breathtaking on a sunny day and there are beautiful umbrellas covering half the tables. The restaurant opened and we quickly asked for a table.(They take reservations, FYI) There were only tourists/visitors there but we didn’t mind because the food and wine(very extensive wine list with helpful descriptions and of course, extremely affordable) were unbelievable. The staff was young and nice. The olive oil was divine. The burrata in pesto with sundried tomatoes were to die for and our homemade two pasta dishes were perfection. The boar was so flavorful and practically melted in our mouths. What an amazing find, we were so incredibly happy!
