We recently attended a wine tasting at Castello di Monterinaldi. The tasting room in the villa was very fancy, with crystal chandeliers and antique furniture. The best wine we tasted was their Chianti Classico Reserva, which was excellent. Also, their fruit sauces, pear and fig I believe, complimented the Pecorino cheese served with them. The service was excellent, with all questions answered completely. Highly recommended!

These guys were awesome! When we asked them if they might have Styrofoam containers to hold wine to take back to the United States, we were offered as many containers as we could want for free! These containers allowed us to bring back 6 bottles of wine back home as luggage safely. They also gave us samples of 40 year old wine that they are previously opened for a wine reviewer. We bought bottles of wine and then returned later in the day after we realized how much cheaper their wine was plus better than other wineries… and we tasted more wine and bought more bottles. On the second trip, we were given a wonderful tour of their facilities. All of the wine purchased and carried back to the States with their containers arrived safely.
