Ailish O.

Business Owner

Ailish has worked with a wide variety of children and families in creating both school and home programmes that seek to encourage independence. She believes passionately that children can attain skills, and she uses a wide repertoire of approaches to assess children’s needs and formulate programmes. Ailish explores a forensic approach to therapy, in relation to promoting wider skills at school, in the home and at leisure. Techniques utilised include sensory profiling, motor assessments, visual perception assessments, clinical observations, parent interviews and structured parent feedback. This approach allows children to develop good self-​help skills, OT goals, functional skills, good fine and gross-​motor skills and supports social skills.
