This place is amazing. We were driving along the Slea Head drive from Dingle and decided to get away from the touristy area of Dingle for dinner. This was the best dinner we’ve had on our trip thus far. We sat outside and could hear the waves crashing on the rocks. I had the Langoustine Tails and Monkfish with potatoes. I would come back again if our holiday allowed it. Cheers!

When there’s a sign saying fresh seafood, you can’t go wrong. The food was delicious, the staff was great. One of the best restaurants I’ve been during my trip to Ireland.

I saw that this place has two great reviews. Wow! Too bad you can only give 5 stars. Most perfectly cooked Monkfish I’ve ever had. My family also had great dishes with the Chicken Kiev, and the John Dory with lemon and herb oil. John Dory is a great local choice. The chef has a light touch especially for French food which tends to be heavy handed in the butter and cream in the sauces. His food is intuitive and has a perfect balance of flavor combinations. Here is a passionate chef who will cook you up a «life experience». We didn’t save room for the desserts which we will try tomorrow. They looked amazing!

Excellent food. Cozy rural oceanside location. Good background music. Very friendly helpful staff. I noticed the romantic candles and the hoards of customers as I was driving by and impulsively turned around to check out their menu. The hand written menu on a black board had about 5 starters and 5 entrees, mostly seafood, all sounding amazing. My family had the chorizo salad, the chicken, and the trout and they were all to die for!

While on a wonderful vacation in Ireland I found myself at the Skipper near Dingle. I didn’t plan on eating there, but there was a heat wave on and the rest of the crew was at the beach. I am so glad I did. The scallops were absolutely unparalleled, and the staff was a delight. I was blown away and my lunch became the highlight of my tour of Dingle. I highly recommend you make a stop at the Skipper!

Amassing seafood prepared in a simple way. Wine list is small but good value for Money. So my tip is just go there !
