Took the family here when the first choice was too packed. Generic wings and sad pizza. Even ordered cake and ice cream for the kids after and it was generic. Best part was the service. Friendly and prompt.

Love this place… something for everyone and for all occasions. Great family meal deals on Saturdays and Sundays and specials in the evenings… staff are very helpful and really nice. Food delicious! Great drinks and cocktail menu including a strawberry cheesecake cocktail yummy as dessert !!

Worth checking out and undoubtedly better than GBK. I’ve never had anything here I didn’t like but I’ll probably go with the BBQ Chicken Burger from here on out because it so so good. They also have a really unique and tasty house salad and also have a good selection of cocktails. They only have one beer on draft and I think that’s my only complaint about the place. I’ll definitely be back.

First time I have been so didn’t know what to expect, I got garlic bread for starters and it was absolutely gorgeous super garlicky which I love, for main I got the bbq pizza it was okay a bit soggy and lacked taste to be honest so I was a bit dissapointed, I would go back though and try something different

The staff where super friendly and service was a pleasure. We got the ribs for starters and honestly I wouldn’t be a big rib person, but these ribs where Delish!!! For main I had the steak mid/rear and it was cooked perfectly! All round it I had a great night here!!!

Ruby’s in the pavilions, swords, more a 3.5 star rating here. A handy spot for a bite, mid– shopping spree or just if passing by, as its accessible from the road also. It has a nice vibe about it décor wise. I found the staff could be a bit more welcoming however. Myself and my friend with her sleeping baby decided to grab a bit of lunch here today while we had a time to catch up especially while she was fast asleep. There was plenty of room for the pram which was great. We’d a good natter while we waited for our food. We were impressed with the lunch menu and the value deals they were offering. I’d opted for the goats cheese and mushroom sambo and fries and a Diet Coke all for € 9.50– great value! My friend got the burger with fries and fanta for € 10.00 we were really impressed with the price! Her burger looked huge and filled with all the wants you’d wish for. The fries were crispy and hit the spot. My ‘sandwich’ however was more like a pizza calzone or pitta/flatbread. It was tasty and very big in size and I couldn’t complain to much. I just think it would have suited a different bread better. Overall it’s nice for a bite especially lunch as it looked to be great value. Offering different sandwiches, burgers and fish and chips. You could also choose a side salad or tea and coffee with your meal. Worth a visit if local.

I had heard good things about Ruby’s and was looking forward to trying it. Popped in today with a mate for lunch and was sadly disappointed. Let me start with the only positive, the chicken wings. Cooked perfect, just enough spice and the portion was the right size. Everything else was awful. I had the pulled pork burger and a side of chilli cheese fries. The fries were all soggy as the mince was obviously not drained when cooked. The mince tasted low grade. The burger had way too much going on. It was like eating a bowl of sugar it was so sweet. Lastly the service. We were served by a guy and a girl. The guy was nice and brought our order out swiftly. The girl acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. We had to ask her twice to re fill our drinks. If it was busy I would understand but there was a total of 8 people sitting down for lunch in the entire restaurant with 3 servers so it wasn’t like she was busy. Overall very disappointed. They have a great location but I think they need to simplify there menu and get the basics right before I return.

Nice place, good food, good serving and music not too loud. Nice decorations for Halloween. Close to Pavilions(where you can park the car)

Sometimes it’s a little harder to give an objective view on a place if you’re using a voucher on your sole visit to a spot. My partner had been here before twice and found it average enough on both visits. I had picked up a Living Social voucher for 10 chicken wings to share and two pizzas and a drink each. So with a little tributation I entered… And I was pleasantly surprised! We had to wait a short time for a table but nothing outrageously long. The décor was good, lots of specials and cocktail menu in particular caught the eye with some unknowns that I’d really like to try sometime. We went for the soya and sesame coated wings which were stickly delicious. For the pizza, I had the Rubys Special which had pulled pork, mixed peppers, red onion, BBQ sauce, smoked cheese and coleslaw. Coleslaw! On a pizza!!! Indeed. And it was pretty wonderful at that. Best place to eat in The Pavilion by a long shot. I’ll be back, voucher or not :)

So i have been here 3 times now and let’s just say my first visit with himself we were not impressed one bit! I don’t know what it was but it just seemed to taste the same Bbq Bbq Bbq and more Bbq sauce! But not good Bbq very sweet sicky Bbq! We had the taster platter and chicken burger and it just was so awful!!! I swore I’d never return! BUT… I came a second time with one of the gals and we had a fab little dinner for two! From the wings to nachos we could not complain!!! THEN… Tonight myself and the girlies went! I got a voucher for 4 for € 36 this included a large wings(yummy) large nachos(Delish) 2 large pizzas(terrific) 2 sides(chipilicious) and 4 sodas(fizzytastic) yes all this for 36 yo yo!!! Okay everyone won’t get this deal but we did and it was super!!! Okay service is a little slow and the gals seem a tad bit laid back and not tres attentive!!! But the food was tasty and drink was wet so let’s just say I shall Defo be back for my 4th time very soon!!!

I wanted to write about this place sooner. I’ve eaten here many times and as always, I wasn’t dissapointed. As a starter, always nachos — a gigantic mountain of goodness. The pizza is great, my favourite is the rubys’s special with pupled pork. My girlfriend likes the skampi here but she also orders pasta, which is also good. I had also the pulled pork bap, it was delicious. It is a really great place with good food and a very friendly atmosphere. Honestly, not my last visit:)

Ruby’s in Swords is a handy place to re-charge the batteries if you’ve found yourself with shopper’s fatigue after a stint in Pavilions. It’s a family restaurant(be warned, each time I’ve eaten here the place is mobbed with kids so if you’re not a fan of the little blighters and their propensity to make a ruckus, steer clear!!) that serves up pizza, pastas, burgers, BBQ and the like. The salads are really good, other options I’ve had, such as the veggie burger weren’t all that, being honest. Word on the ribs… they’re belly ribs so you get far more meat but they’re much fattier than their baby-back counterparts– personally, I can’t say I loved them! Ruby’s is superior to the other options in the shopping centre but as they’re mainly fast-food outlets it’s not all that surprising. I would return if I found myself needing sustenance during a shopping stint but mainly because of the lack of other suitable options.

Decent pizza restaurant that serves BBQ, pasta, sandwiches, Mexican food. etc. that is located in the Pavilions on the Penneys side.(Where the awful chinese buffet used to be) Seems like they’re trying to cover all their bases. I have to say I was very impressed with their pizza. We ordered the quack quack and the duck was tender and flavorful and the crust was stone baked s promised. I really disliked the nachos as they were SOGGY. ew. who likes soggy tortilla chips? Not I. the Mac n cheese was mediocre at best. I would’ve still given them 4 stars if it wasn’t for their service. They just opened up a couple weeks ago so hopefully they’ll work it out. but they over staffed the restaurant with servers who are more about socializing than actually working. I took a picture of the group of servers that were standing around the end of the bar chatting away as their colleagues are trying to squeeze past them and the MANAGER was there getting drink orders reaching over these girls and didn’t say anything! It just really bugged me as its a new restaurant and there were people waiting for an available table. SURELY they could have helped out their other busy colleagues or looked for something to do! disinfect the high chairs, go chat to your CUSTOMERS. We weren’t asked if we needed anything else after our food was dropped and had to hail down someone for the bill… When we left there was 5 parties waiting to be seated. The management needs to sit down and re think their staffing and the manager needs to crack the whip In saying all this I would definitely come back again as the pizza was fab and I hear the other menu items are nice. hopefully I can come back to update my review and give them 5 stars! They social media-ed the sh** out of this place which is why they must be so busy(that and its north county dublin… new restaurant ooooooooooooh)
