Lack of atmosphere our Eastern European waiter didn’t seem friendly or helpful food was average and overpriced although the starters were nice is why it gets 3 stars over 2

The service is good, but food is just ok. If without a voucher, the price is a bit high. We waited more than half an hour for the starter, even though the staff explained that it takes longer because they made everything from fresh, we’d prefer to know that when we place the order…

Really disappointing service from these guys this evening. We were handed early bird menus as we sat down and ordered from these. When we went to pay they would not accept our Living Social Voucher mentioning that it wasn’t allowed against early bird orders. There is no mention of that on the voucher and we weren’t given the full menu either. Seems like they were trying to pull a fast one.

Vermilion is a spacious Indian restaurant located in Terenure above the Tenenure Inn. The food is delicious, the waiters are kind and courteous and the ambiance is nice and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place. A tip is to buy a voucher for a two person four course meal on for € 39 as it can be quite pricey otherwise.

I absolutely admore Vermilion! It is a bit pricey, but it is worth it. I’ve had take away from them a few times and dined in once, and both were great experiences. The place is absolutely gorgeous! Delicious chana masala and saag paneer, the appetizer with the prawns was fabulous… really, all the food I’ve had from there has been wonderful! :)

This has been my favorite Indian in Terenure for years. Would highly recommend. The early bird menu is and absolute steel.

I can’t say enough good things about Vermillion. Has to be my favorite local Indian. Terenure isn’t a bad spot for Indian food either so no mean feat. Situated on top of the Terenure Inn, the only hardship you’ll face is the climb upstairs to the restaurant. The Daal is amazing. I’ll normally order that with Chana Masala and rice. It could feed two people alone. Chicken Dhansak, Tikka Masala and Vegatarian dishes like Navarattan Korma are all tasty and fresh too. Great classy layout, it feels like a special ocasion kinda place. Which it can be. They also do takeaway but don’t deliver as yet. Theres a loyalty card as well.
