The Market Bar was Dublin’s original gastro-bar and foremost tapas restaurant and serves from an extensive Mediterranean tapas menu. Graze on anchovies, olives and dips and chicken chorizo skewers.
On entering The Market Bar, visitors walk through an open-air heated courtyard with tables and chairs, leading into the vast luminous warehouse. Inside the sky-lit interior the original red-brick walls are maintained, tall plants are interspersed around rustic wooden benches creating a warm and earthy effect.
History
Established in 2003.
The Market Bar is a tapas restaurant located on Fade Street, just off South Great George’s Street in Dublin City centre. It is right in the heart of Dublin City Centre, just a short stroll away from Grafton Street, Temple Bar and many of Dublin’s landmarks including Trinity College Dublin, Stephen’s Green, Dublin Castle and numerous galleries, theatres and museums.
