The smells wafting from Subway can catch you unawares from 200m down the street. They must have fans pumping that aroma out into the air. I used to imagine freshly baked bread, but now the smell just makes me feel a bit queasy.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re treating yourself to a healthy sandwich for lunch — Subway rolls are about as virtuous as a BigMac. For the ultimate indulgence, go for the footlong meatball sub with cheese. Eugh the thoughts of it.
I am definitely not Subway’s number 1 fan, but their sub of the day is a good deal for € 2.99. Coffee is only € 1.
