This café is on the grounds of The Button Factory. It’s great to see cafés getting creative with the ridonkulus rent that the non community inspired landlords still expect people to pay. No one seems to have any sense of patriotism these days… Tax Man: «By Jove I’ve got it overpaid public servant with a made up role.» Overpaid public servant with a made up role: «Make it quick I’ve fly to Florida to go on an Irish Space job creation envoy.» Tax Man: ««Let’s tax the private sector even more to pay for us upper echelons of public service?» Overpaid public servant with a made up role: «That’s genius. More public money for us!» The model is flawed at a very basic economic level because eventually there will be not enough private sector to tax but I digress. So because there are less incentives to be an entrepreneur in this country cafés like 3FE and Coffee Together are taking advantage of alternatives. So all that was said to say I really admire what these folks are doing. The outdoor seating area is great and fantastic for people watching. The service was terrific and friendly. The coffee was decent. When we went none of their smoothies were available due to a broken refrigerator so hopefully that’s fixed. The bathroom is the disabled loo in the Button Factory and it’s pretty nasty but nothing a good clean wouldn’t fix, also better signage should be up. My scone was microwaved and you could play footie keep up with it which was a big fail. I like fresh. But overall I commend anyone at least trying in this current climate, good effort but needs to focus on the little things more.
