This was my favorite place in Dublin for amazing berry scones and excellent tea!!! if you have a chance to stop by and have scones or any pastries enjoy, relax sip some tea or and espresso. Go there after the morning rush, but give it try!!!

Great place for an afternoon tea and scone. The place is small and comfortable with a really nice upstairs seating area. They make great lattes, have a nice Irish breakfast blend that is full leaf and their fruit scone and selection of jams was excellent. We went here two days in a row we were so happy with it. It’s in a great location just across the corner from Christchurch cathedral.

Dublin is a strange place; you can get a perfectly cooked decent sized steak and salad for a tenner in some places and in others they charge you 6.50Euro for an Americano and a brownie. Peacockgreen& Co. is one of them. Both coffee and brownie were very nice, although I almost passed on the brownie purely because neither of the staff members was able to tell me what was in it. I took a seat in the gorgeous upstairs. It is so pretty and quirky and really nice to hang out and read for a while. They do have free wifi so you could also come here to work or write your Unilocal reviews.

A lovely little coffee/tea and pasty shop! We were drawn in by the lovely façade, but the loose tea selection and ultimately the coffees prompted a review. It’s a nice location, well appointed, and the Americano and Flat White we got were both very nice. If you are walking by, give it a try — you won’t be disappointed.

perfect place for a quick lunch, popped in today with my colleagues-it’s only across the road from our office in Styne house, i know many of colleagues grab a sandwich here, got me a toasted bagel, nice and fresh, coming back again!

Always a pleasure to spend time here, wonderfully flavorful dishes from frittas to ciabattas… And loose leaf teas from around the world. The coffee is well made and staff are friendly.

Two of my friends and I went to Peacock Green on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and had such a lovely experience. I pass the place on my way to work every day and have always wanted to try it. The place is a really quaint and cute. The window display is so well done and walking in the place feels like a nice respite from the business of Lord Edward Street. I ordered a latte and a raisin scone and my friends ordered tea. We headed upstairs where there’s a beautiful tea room with tables and couches. As we sat and enjoyed our tea, a young Irish family came in for coffee and lunch and a few different couples visiting Ireland had tea and pastries. Overall a lovely experience. The coffee was quite good and the scone was delicious. My friends really enjoyed their tea. My only complaint is that it was a small room and felt a little cramped right around lunchtime, but the staff was very attentive cleaning up tables quickly after their customers left. Would definitely recommend.

Cakes were not as great as Queen of Tarts — the lemon tart I had was tasty and not overly sweet but the pastry felt like it was a couple days’ old. Great selection of loose leaf tea though and the jasmine tea I had was lovely. The barista had a bit of a surly attitude when I enquired about my tea, perhaps I got him on an off day. Tables upstairs were left in a mess despite having two staff members manning the tiny café. No excuse! Back to Queen of Tarts for me.

Peacock Green a really really great stop of if you are anywhere near it or even if your not! First off left start with the main reason I loved here. It looks … beautiful ! It really is a gorgeous place so well decorated loads of little touches everywhere. It has an amazing window display, book case inside, seating area upstairs everything is just gorgeous. They had little cows as milk jugs which were unreal. They have Framed art upstairs and prints of art on all the pillows. I really do love the was the place looks The girl serving was lovely very friendly to everyone coming in for their morning coffee, there are a number of nice sweet treats there but I managed to display some form of self-control for a change and just ordered a coffee which was nice enough. There are 2 reasons its not getting 5 starts and they are a bit nit picky but. One, the coffee is good, but its not great and doesn’t hold a light to any of the serious coffee shops around Dublin. Two I had been chatting to the girl serving and had said I was just going to sit down and hang out for a while before work and have my coffee and I had ordered my coffee to sit in but I got it in a paper cup. Its rare id get a coffee to go I normally sit in places I prefer getting coffee in a cup! So I was a bit let down by that. But look that’s not a big complaint the place is still fantastic I would recommend people drop in at last once just to sit in this amazing looking café.

Lovely lovelyyyyyyy lovely. I loved the place from the inside to the out side. The decoration is fantastic and the wood gives it this parisian look. They have baked stuff, cakes, puddings and a great selection of tea. It smells great there, and the staff are friendly, especially the guy who works there is super nice. I would defenetly suggest the place, esp, if you’re a tea lover. And it ‘s so different to the one in leeson st(more variety of food)

We stopped in for a small breakfast and tea, and we were not disappointed! This is a really neat little shop with a great nook updstairs for enjoying our breakfast as we watched people pass by on the street below. The service was really great, the breakfast was yummy, and we enjoyed the atmosphere :)

Dropped in for some tea and ended up getting a ham and cheese croissant as well. Both were perfect and hit the spot. Lots of loose tea options. And super cute inside with free wifi, upstairs seating with tons of adorable pillows, and very nice employees. Wish they had one in NYC!

Cute décor, love the seating area upstairs. Free wifi and a good Americano, what’s not to like? Will go back to try some other coffees and maybe treats :)

I am very upset. Most of my visits to Peacock green are for the croissants, which they have now started to generously sprinkle with icing sugar. It is not only a sacrilege, it is also disgusting. Not everyone has the same taste regarding sweet stuff and I would like that choice back. I will not be going back, but this is no judgement on the quality of the place.

Coming here for a second time, I was as enchanted as the first. With the look of a little Parisian patisserie, it sparks an excitement that is missing when visiting a lot of cafes these days. On my first trip I had the bread and butter pudding which, though a little claggy, more than hit the spot. This time, I had peppermint leaf tea(loose leaf) in the nicest mug(sounds silly, but for tea, it makes all the difference) with a little cover to keep it warm and three macarons which were so fresh and at ninety five cent each, well worth the risk that early in the morning. The place itself is small, and though it has optimised the amount of people it can fit in by squeezing in tables, the result is it’s a bit cramped. This alone is the reason for the lost star. In saying that however, on a quiet moment, this is such a nice and relaxed location for a break on your own or with a friend. I look forward to coming back. What I will leave this review saying, is do not come here with the intention of sitting treatless, if so, this place will be wasted on you! The chocolate and pecan tart is next on my list. p. s. I lost my iphone, so no pictures :(

My friend and I were attracted to the Peacock Green because of its cute exterior. When we walk in, we’re greeted by two very nice baristas/servers who were manning the entire place. Orders are taken from the blackboard behind the register, which shows off their lunch sandwiches and coffee, and there’s a glass case of pastries that I, of course, couldn’t resist. I ordered a caffe latte and the prettiest tart for miles, not even knowing what was in it. I took my plate upstairs for some privacy and delicately devoured my peanut butter/banana/cream tart(with a side of vanilla ice cream)! Adorable space that gives off a very Jane Austen ambiance: doilies, florals… the works. Free wifi with our sit-down coffee and dessert break made it perfect for us tourists. Peacock Green was our favorite café on our trip and I wish we had enough time on our food itinerary to make another stop there.

Beautiful intricate Byzantine décor, fabulous food(I had a bacon, brie & cranberry sandwich, and a friend got an iced lemon cake), pleasant staff, and a blinding selection of teas. I got the ‘wellbeing tea’ which was made of all the good things that can replenish you after a night on the sauce, a day at work, or just for a general pick me up. It’s got the vibe of being in a chic little Parisian café, whilst having a massively city-centre location. Great for meeting friends, or settling in with a book by yourself. Can’t fault it.

Across from Christ Church Cathedral. Nice and out-of-the-way for a cup of tea or coffee. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. Eat in or take away. Inexpensive. Sandwiches & soups are very good. Pastries nice & sweet.

Popped by here on a Sunday afternoon. The place was very busy, there’s usually a good tourist foot traffic around this area. The décor looks great, they’ve put a lot of effort into the appearance of the place. I had a «house blend» coffee, honestly it wasn’t anything special, quite bland. They appear to have all the necessary equipment to make a good cup of coffee, I think they just need to go with a better bean, Has Bean etc. would be a safer bet but the price per cup would probably have to go up then also.

Perched all the way up Lord Edward street, Peacock Green is just far out enough to be a little out of the way. However, it is absolutely worth the walk– this place is a gem. This dainty café oozes sophistication, with no detail left unpolished. First impressions got this place of to a fine start– the smart interior, artwork, cutlery, china, and most importantly, the menu. With around 30 loose-leaf teas on offer as well as a fantastic and fancy range of sandwich and desert options available, this place is the perfect lunch destination for two. It is definitely worth adding that Peacock Green does a brilliant cup of coffee– it is definitely my top Lunch+Coffee With A Friend destination in Dublin so far. Lastly, there is a particular charm to this place that is unmatched. Upstairs is a very intelligently incorporated seating area that seems to hover over the main café, making great use of space, and lending to the cosy feel of this café. The additional layers of décor and menu offerings make this a really pleasant space to enjoy an hour with a friend. Peacock Green wasn’t far off the fifth star. I felt that it lost points at the hands of the staff, who aren’t all to blame as they are working in a cramped environment. Although, food and hot drinks are served at the counter, and it is up to the customer to negotiate the journey upstairs or to a seat downstairs. The two coffees that I ordered weren’t served on saucers, and if this is normally the case, it is certain that you will lose a few drops on your way. Perhaps on a better day or at a quieter hour of the day you might have a better interaction with staff. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place, and I will certainly be returning.
