Bought a bag here yesterday for my wedding and the service was excellent. There was a great sel e coon to choose from and I was given space to browse and think. I didn’t really pay much attention to the clothes but they have a huge selection of beautiful vintage items and lots of gorgeous hats and jewellery too. Very nice shop.

I just do not get how this place is still in business, their price points would make Brown Thomas blush. Yes, the clothes are pretty, but charging 100s for a simple dress you could pick up in any other vintage store at € 50 or less is simply bizzare.
I can only imagine that its the only place people who do not regularly wear vintage have heard of, and so flock to, rather than trying great value places like Lucys Lounge or The Dublin Vinatge Factory.
I must admit that my problem with here started when I met one of her main suppliers in Glasgow, and realised her markups!
Also the few times I have gone in, I have gotten the up/​down from the staff!

Jenny Vander is the place I have been coming to for years and years. I walk in and I want everything. It moved location a few years ago but not that far from the old location, it still has all the charm and character of a classic vintage shop.
I usually come here for stuff that is hard to find in the US, sometimes I might find something that was made in Dublin in the good old days when tailors and seamstresses were employed and it was an art and everything was impeccable, those days are gone now.
They have an amazing jewelry collection and the hats and accessories are well worth the visit.
Going to Dublin and not hanging around the George’s street area would be a weird thing to do at this stage. I love this part of the city, behind the Powescourt, away from the bustle of Grafton Street.
Most of all, thank you Jenny Vander for being there through my youth and right up until today!

Jenny Vander is by far one of the best vintage shops I have ever been in!
I walked into the store and was literally transported back to a time where people got Dressed Up. There are cases full of the most stunning and plentiful array of costume jewelry I may have ever seen. There are lot of complete earring/​bracelet/​necklace sets which is really something special. They also have lots of fun vintage hats and incredible bags. Not to mention the selection of apparel is beautiful; there is a focus on vintage and turn of the century apparel, but they do also carry lots of items from every decade.
You’re going to need some pretty deep pockets to shop here, however. Your money wouldn’t go to waste though, because you can find some truly one-​of-​a-​kind items that will wow everyone.

I agree that this is Ireland’s best vintage store. Forget the stuffy moth ball smell– this is the kind of place the Gossip Girls would go to– and not hide their faces!

This is an excellent vintage shop catering to people with special occasions to go to.
Your pockets need to be fairly deep for the best buys, but this is probably the best place to find vintage occasionwear in Ireland. Jewellery is also wonderful here, ranging from bits of Victorian jet through art deco pieces and all the way up into chunky 80s bracelets and such like.

This is the best vintage shop in the whole of Ireland hands down, in fact it would be hard find better outside of Ireland too. As with all vintage shops, you have to be lucky but they always have amazing clothes and accessories in stock. Everything from jet beaded Victorian jackets to silk velvet full lenght coats from the thirties right up to crazy eighties clothes. Prices rang from the very inexpensive to the expensive so there’s something for everyone’s price range in here.
