I’m going to have to be daring here and buck the trend, I don’t like Jack and Jones at all. I used to, kind of, but everything I’ve bought here, jumpers in particular, have instantaneously leapt out’ve shape the moment they’re out of warranty. Their shirts can be pretty good if you can find a nice one, but everything suffers from that ‘let’s just put a rip, a tribal squiggle and some random numbers here’ design mentality that drives me mental.

Would be into Jack & Jones a fair bit and its a great all round shop for T’s, jeans, jumpers and slightly more formal shirts. As Alexandra says; not the most daring and does border on preppy sometimes, a bit like a funkier Next The Trinity street store is handily located if a little small when it gets busy. I’ve always found the staff good, changed something for me once without a receipt. Which they had no problem with, result. Theres parking across the road in the very pokey multistory car park.

Jack & Jones in Dundrum is a great little store too and the clothes are so much better than Next or Topman, more because it is not so well know and not so many people are wearing them. So guys if you want to stand out from the crowd a tiny bit yet not be totally out of your comfort zone, head here!

What would men(and girlfriends) do without Jack & Jones? It’s the male version of Awear or Topshop which means that it’s good for all the basics. My boyfriend comes here all the time when he needs to replace his jeans or when he wants to buy a plain t-shirt or dress shirt. This shop stocks all the necessities and though their style is not the most daring, a lot can be said about classic cuts. I especially like their cardigans and knitwear. Guys who wear them fall into the preppy-meets-cool category. At times, when I’m completely confused on what to get my boyfriend for his birthday or for Christmas, I can always count on Jack & Jones to produce at least one cool belt or striped shirt. Prices are decent too. You can expect to pay around 40 or 50 Euro for a jumper and around 70 or 80 Euro for a regular pair of jeans.
