Great healthy selection od foods, from Paleo to Vegan and Macro-Fanatics — something for everyone… Only for lunch though, as they are close late afternoon… We should definitely have something like this in Zurich!

Really nice and neat place. I tried porridge with fruits(4 €). I didn’t had to wait long so perfect if you are in rush. Also, I could pay by card(in some occasions some places having this minimum 5 € policy). Ive got big pot of porridge full of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. I’ve been offered also the chocolate sprinkles but I though that would be too much. The menu is quite interesting, I would like to try few things but the opening hours for the person who works 9 – 5 are not very convenient. Also, they don’t have the soy milk.

Really great place. Good, health-orientated, tasty and exceptionally priced food. I had the € 6 breakfast deal. It comes with a breakfast burrito(egg frittata, bacon, red pepper, sea salt, black pepper) and a coffee. Individual food items are very very well priced, especially considering that it’s a healthy food shop. Staff are cool too.

Seeing as how I’m attempting to get back on the Paleo wagon and I was in the area, this would be the place to go ! I had hoped they would have more Paleo options, as I had heard they catered for us cave people. I went for the Paleo salad which had bacon, apple, seeds, leaves and an olive oil dressing. I paid extra to get chicken as well. I was totally happy with it! It was very tasty(for an olive oil dressed salad) and I scarfed it down happily. Can’t wait till next month when I can go have another.

I was really hoping to try their beef or salmon today went down at 2pm to find they only had chicken left must have been a busy day or maybe I went down too late. The hot box with chicken came to 7.25 and I got a green juice for 5.50 it was a bit steep hence the low rating. My hot box was really oily way too much sauce which probably made it a lot less healthy depending on what oils they use. Id like to go back to try the beef or salmon but I wouldn’t order the chicken option again.

Borlottie is a cool health-conscious establishment right in the heart of Dublin. I find that first and foremost, the location gets busy. While I like the idea of «let’s take down your order on an ipad», the reality is that depending on how busy they are you may get your food near instantly or it may be delayed significantly. All in all, it’s a very tiny establishment. There is a bit of outdoor seating — but given Dublin, that means potentially rain. Also as is most food in dublin, it’s quite expensive, even if it’s good. I had a soup that was basically a vegetarian take on hot and sour soup that added in a good amount of vegetables as well. It was enormous for the price, but everything else I’ve had there(the hot box) seemed overpriced as mentioned. For the health conscious, this is definitely a good place to consider.

I’ve gone here twice for lunch, both time absolutely exceeded my expectations. I’m not a big salad eater, but I got one in an effort to be healthy. It was amazing! So I went back again and got a wrap, and I’m not exaggerating, it was the best wrap I ever had. I only wish this restaurant was in more locations, I would eat here everyday if I could!

This place is so almost wonderfully great, but it just misses the mark. The menu is absolutely fantastic in the sense that the options are healthy, alternative and have plenty of wriggle room for anyone with allergies or have simply decided to take up a mad diet recently. Their paleo section on their menu sounds incredible and I have actually made the salads at home myself. The portions are big and reasonably priced for what is in them. So why the low rating? Unfortunately the food just isn’t that nice, the meat has been dry and chewy every time we have eaten there, the sauces are just a bit too rich which takes away from all the nutrients in the dishes themselves and despite the huge portions that we are able to share between two none of us are tempted to go back. It is unfortunate because the idea is good, but there is nothing worse than a healthy lunch that makes you feel awful later.

I love the idea of Borlottie as it can be hard to get a decent, good value, healthy lunch around the IFSC area sometimes. Borlottie has an extensive menu with lots of options to tailor your lunch. It’s mainly salads but does wraps etc. as well I think. The ingredients are really fresh, notably so the proteins(choose one for your salad) — nothing worse than dried out chicken at lunch. I recently ordered a chicken noodle box which was almost like ramen. It cost around € 5 and it was so big I brought half home and had it for dinner. It was delish. Only thing is, the staff can get a bit frazzled around lunch time when it gets busy, leading to mix-ups in orders. Still, I wouldn’t let it put me off.

Consistently poor organisation, long waiting times and often pieces are inexplicably left out of salad(Order and pay for two meats and only one put in salad). This has happened over multiple visits. Will now avoid for good.
