Carrickmines Equestrian Centre caters for kids from six years upwards, and levels from complete beginners up to competition level in showjumping, eventing, dressage and polocrosse. Lessons are held seven days a week. Our indoor arena provides the ideal, safe envoirnment for beginners, while our two outdoors arena cater for the more advanced riders. Private lessons may also be arranged by special appointment. Groups and birthday parties are also catered for. Individual children’s needs are taken into account and suitable mounts are carefully selected. Our experienced instructors ensure that all riders within each group receive equal attention.

History

Established in 1991.

Carrickmines Equestrian Centre and Riding School is owned and run by the O’Leary family. This friendly and efficient centre has been built up by the family over the past 20 plus years into one of the largest centres in Ireland. The centre is located in suburban Dublin only eight miles from the city centre yet it is located in a very picturesque setting offering magnificent views of Dublin Bay. Carrickmines Equestrian Centre is fully approved by AIRE (Association of Irish Riding Establishments) the body that regulates standards at riding schools and equestrian centres in Ireland.
