Apparently this place this place is hoppin from Thursday to Sunday… any of these nights would be good for toppin up your country soul from city life. The locals goin hell for leather to the fella singin the oldies (and sure why not, when Kenny’s asking Ruby not to take her love to town?)
The porter has to come the considerable distance from keg to tap, approximately 1m… in other words; quality.

Has a bus stop bar licence so open early in the morning.
Same family owners have the local funeral director business so there is a Wooden frame hanging outside. If your name is inside that you have no longer any earthly worries on this fair planet.
Have the paper dealership so no need to have to go down to the shops.

Newly renovated in Easter 2009 but has not lost any of that old Irish charm. 2 doors entry. 1 through the main bar (avoid this if busy obviously) and the secret hall door. To the right of the main door grants you access to the hall that will transport you into the heart of the pub.
Open fire, dart board on a quiet night, live music Thursday to Sunday can be either the owner Padraic or a choice of many one man bands.
Snug bar at the rear can have a mini bottle bar or fuzzball table in situ. Ladies toilets through the snug, mens out in the rain/​cold to an external gets. It’s covered but it’s cold.
Semi covered smoking area to the rear. 2 TV’s in the main bar but no need for them.
Locally know as the «Pot» as in the lobster pot cause once you go in you wouldn’t be able to get out. The owner is found of giving out free drink to keep you there and not wander off into the night.
