went here last weekend for dinner. we stayed at the tides guesthouse and the owner recommended we take in the dinner special(2 people for 50 euros) for a 3 course meal. we are glad we did! everything was fresh and yummy. my meat was a little over cooked but i didn’t mind too much. still enjoyed it. they were able to accommodate our 18 year old son with a highchair and the service was great. our server was polish and very accommodating. we met the owner and he even brought out lollipops and stickers for the kids(mine and another 5 yo traveling with us). so nice! he told us that the hotel is only about a year old. they open the restaurant during the week and the hotel for the weekend since they are not at a point where they can fill the rooms during the week yet. definitely recommend, there is a very nice table right by the big window with a view of a great sunset.

This is one hidden gem and newest spot in Ballybunion. The décor and ambiance will make you feel as if you are in a trendy city, yet once you look out the window overlooking the Atlantic ocean you will relax with the excellent service the minute you are seated. The menu has a vast amount of options are they always have specials and the chef will always cater to your needs. The risotto is amazing! They have a fantastic wine list and cocktail list, as well. I’ve never stayed at their hotel, however, heard great things about it.
