Marcel’s

Marcels recently moved to Merrion Row where Il Segreto used to be. Its well laid out, with a old-​fashioned bar to the right and various rooms for dining throughout the rest of the building. The décor is very stylish with white linen, deep-​orange chairs and a classy air.
We opted for a late lunch on a wet Friday afternoon. Its was very busy so we sat at the bar and had a drink and a chat. We were seated a while later.
The menu is short but reads well. I had the pea soup which was absolutely delicious. My Pork Belly main was tasty and my lemon mousse was delicious. My friends enjoyed their fish and beef mains and the Strawberry and chocolate desserts. We had a bottle of Masi Malbec which was excellent.
We were being treated so I am unsure of the cost of the meal. However I really enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance.
