In a secluded part of the country it stands out for the BEST pint of Guinness I’ve ever had and the fish and chips(don’t forget those tasty mashed peas!) that were far better than anything I’ve encountered in the US/Austrailia or the rest of Europe! Worth trying — it’s a great neighborhood pub that offers delicious food option when you feel like you’re in the middle of no where!

An hour after getting engaged on top of a castle in Easkey, we were loading up on carbs and warmth here at Pilot Bar. No champagne to be had, but one bottle of Italian prosecco saved the day. We shared a PIPINGHOT bowl of vegetable soup and a MOUTHSCALDING chicken, leek and potato pie as the rain came down outside. Both were just on the right side of too salty, but were absolutely fantastic. Not a bad way to celebrate at all. :)
