Established in 1996.

Since its formation in 1996 Courtlough has expanded to become Ireland’s premier, shooting ground, offering disciplines such as Down the line, Olympic Trap, Automatic Ball Trap, Skeet, Sporting, Fitasc and Compak shooting. All shooting are fully covered in away from the elements of the weather, which makes us an ideal venue all year round.

Meet the Business Owner

William F.

Business Owner

I setup this Business with my father Richard in the early 1990’s after many years competing on the International clay shooting circuit. Clay Shooting was always in the family blood as my father Richard had shot for Ireland for many years and the highlight of his career was to represent Ireland in the 1976 Olympics in Montréal. We developed it over time adding various new activities and now pride ourselves on having Ireland’s premier shooting facility. We cater for the complete beginner to very experienced shooter offering a variety of different types of targets and lessons to suit all. We also have one of Ireland’s largest Guns shops stocking a large selections of Guns, Ammunition, Accessories, Clothing and Safety equipment.
