Generally speaking, I seldom go to Mongkok to «eat». I honestly find most restaurants here very average. Perhaps rent is just too expensive and they have to save money somewhere? But, Mongkok is a great place to have casual dinners with co-​worker friends, acquaintances, etc. because of its prime location. It’s the place to go when conversation with friends is more important than the taste of the food.
Yamaton is famous for its «collagen hotpot». Again, it’s a gimmick thing so don’t expect too much. Your paper mask will do more wonders than this.
