Seriously, I miss the days when I have couriers.
Post office in Hong Kong needs to up their game massively. Very limited office hours, always queue for any kind of service (some people like to queue to pay for their phone or electricity bills).
Searching through the posters and notices on the wall and found absolutely nothing relevant, I finally realized (without any label or signage) that the electric scale is working and supposedly (I couldn’t know for sure) available for anyone to use. I weighted my stuff, pressed some buttons and not sure if I got the right combinations, and it showed that I needed $ 10 worth of postage.
Walked to stamp selling «machine», I inserted my coins (no octopus, no notes) one by one and got the stamp, a certain fixed fees, one by one. I was surprised this machine was even digital. You could totally convince me that it was just a mechanical machine, or some random person was hiding inside the machine and threw out the stamps.
I took maybe 8 mins back-​to-​back but I still thought it could be hugely improved. Yet people in the queue seemed like pretty enjoyed it and probably saw me as a freak rushing through everything. But hey, time is time.
If anyone knows any better alternative in HK, message me!

That’s what a post office does. Lines go fast most of the time when I usually come between 10 am — 2:00 p.m.
