I am a little hesitate to write a review for this place because I do not want it to start attracting crowds of people especially local tourists. But on the other hand, I want them to do well and stay in business so I can continue to come and get my fix of Thai food…
It’s sure a hidden gem, perhaps the best Thai food with a reasonable price tag in this city. No Thai restaurant in Kowloon City can compare… the lady behind the stove really knows what she’s doing. Of course just like another restaurants not everything on the menu is good. But her ground pork with Thai basil, green papaya salad, spicy vermicelli salad, salt coated grilled fish… are the closest things you can get outside of Thailand. You can even order your green papaya salad with raw baby crab if you dare.
If you know your Thai food well and don’t see what you want listed on the menu, do not be afraid to ask… if she has the commodity on hand she will made it for you.
